    Power steering Problem ????

    Hi guys

The other day i noticed my PS Fluid was very low.

It felt like it was " sticking " and wouldnt turn.

I checked the colour of the fluid and it was black! not a nice red.

Since ive drained it ( well syringed most of it out ) and added new stuff the car isnt to keen on turning left, it feels like theres some resistance there

Any ideas what it could be ?

I havent hit anything or no-ones hit me.

    I am Puzzled big time.

    Cheers

    Lee

not sure what it can be mate. my power steering was bad for ages and wining all the time. and iff i turned the wheel fast one way then back the other way it stuck. but i drained the fluid out and replaced it with slick 50 power steering fluid. think thats what it weas called. it repaired it and now its great.

hi lee it sounds like theres air in take the connector than is on the rack and drain the fluid fully then get some one to turn the steerin g wheel form side to side slowley while you top it up to push the air out
