And how are you going to tell the PSI? Remember, you're convinced your new boost gauge is broken.

well iv just changed all my boost pipes and fitted a boost gauge. its not gona be hard to pull 2 pipes off and put them on the mbc. then ajust carefully wile checking the psi till it tops at 14. aint rocket science LOL
My diesl v40 runs at 27psi, but I don't think you want to go that high, start off with the mbc screwed right out, then adjust a quarter turn between checks, when you get close to the pressure you want turn 1/8turn between checks then 1/16turn.....
You get the picture be carefull this could be very costly if you rush it, take your time and get it right.

Mods so far, HLM ReMap, Goodridge brake lines, Eibach springs lowering 35mm, K&N57i filter with cold air, Strut brace, Shark fin aerial, Boost guageYES IT'S A DIESELWish list, BOV, 18" rims, Struts, Stainless exhaust, Injector Upgrade, MORE POWER!
My Diesel V70 shows 20psi then flaps around 15-18 after is this normal?
and if I fit a MBC what type would i need?
That is normal for a diesel... mine use to boost 30psi on overboost. settle back at anywhere between 26-28. (mine was a 115bhp s40 model)
Nice username by the way - I have a T-shirt that reads the same
