    Volvo 850 T5 Platinum (4x4?)

I was talking to some guy at Volvo earlier who reckons Volvo did a 850 Platinum edition that was actually 4wd , Now I was like yeah ok, Has anyone else heard of this?

Maybe they didn't do them in this country but god wouldn't a 4x4 or Rwd version be great?

yeh they did a 850AWD (sure theres a member on here got one), very rare & don't know much about them tbh. Think they came to this country but don't think they had the T-5 engine.

They did build a platignum edition as someone has one on cardomain.com

Dont know if it was 4x4 though.

From what ive heard though the AWD saps alot of power through the trans.

Hi, well as i understand it, the Platinum edition was for the Yanks and is the same as our T5-R model, accept the americans called it a 'platinum' cos the next model up in the states was most certainly the 850R!!!
