fairly easy you just have to remove the dash, took me about 30 mins to do,

do you have a new panel or do you need one?

I tried this on my 2001v40 and it turned out that the clocks with the info centre that i had came out of a pre 51 plater with a cable driven speedo mines an electronic one! wasted my money there!

On a 1999 model a software download is required mate, which means a trip to a dealer.

This software is not cheap and is £225.00 inc vat, plus the labour charge the dealer will take to do this.
