    best oil??

    hi you guys and girls.im intrested in hearing what oil you run in your cars??and could you advise me?ive got a 1996 850 t5 running 12psi.and done 86k.what would yous recomend?also what gear oil do yous rate??

    ive had various performance motas and my rule of thumb is buy the best oil out there for your engine.castrol RS,mobil 1 and motul.all either 0w/40 or 5w/40 full synthetic.never had any oil probs AT ALL with these.they also dont break down under thermal stress and they dont clog up your pcv systems.turbos also benefit from excellent grade oils.

    I use miller's 5 40 fully synthetic,

    A bitty tappy in the morning but always nice and clean everytime i change it..

    I find that semi-synthetic workd just as good as full, with no problems, and have had 2 T5's, Cosworth's, R.S's etc.. etc...
    Mainly due to the cost, loads cheaper on semi!!!

    Shell helix plus for semi and Shell Ultra for fully syn.
