    Question exhausting hell!

Just had confirmation that my 'zorst, is knackered, having spent time repairing the exhaust manifold gaskets! (by the way what a nightmare job this is alone- not to be attempted by the faint hearted!!!!)
I am now told the flexi part (just pased the turbo) has cracked, which is part of the same pipe as the cat!
A wielding guru may be able to stick a new flexi in, as an alternative to replacing the whole pipe and cat, as there is nothing wrong with the cat!
Does anyone know if the 850R (1996) is unique, or is it the same pipe as the T5R, or T5 for that matter????

I know Longlife and Powerflow can replace just the flexi instead of replacing the whole thing.

nightmare now over, good mate of mine weilded in an new stainless flexi in downpipe. Engine so much quieter now, and you can hear the turbo spooling up- nice.
All I want now is to save for a stainless catback system, but not many manufacturers make them for our cars!
