There should be a small grub screw on the light switch, just turn it....
Is that what that is?
I'm pretty sure it tells you in the owners manual - I believe there are 3 settings - I turned mine off as soon as I got the car. When you turn the screw you'll feel it stop at intervals.
You are right it does tell you in the handbook even tells you what position does what.Originally Posted by Phuturephantasy

Yep, thats right on the V70, anyone know how to turn em off on a 1998 V40?
Why turn it off? It was designed for a purpose. Other road users can see you coming.
Extra support with insurance claims " I had my dayglow lights on...."
because i have just come back from a trip to spain and every 5 mins people were flashing me about my lights, annoying.Originally Posted by Adge43

WHEN DID YOU LAST SEE A PLOD T5 WITH LIGHTS ON (NOT DAYTIME OR FLASHING )?

Were'nt they meant for the Swedish market ! (think its the law over there to have lights on all the time?....I might be wrong!)
So just easier to put a little switch in as well, so other countrys can turn them off or on or off or what ever takes your fancy....!!lol

I'm led to believe that on phase 2 V70's, the dealer can set the lights to your own preferences. Is this true or is it just a case of pulling a fuse?
