hi can any of you guys advise me on the parts needed for a faster t5?its a 1996 850 t5.i was thinking of 300 plus hopefully but relaible.its done 82thousand and id say in good condition.what do you reccomend and where from?i was thinking a 19t turbo 3" downpipe and system larger injectors 850 glt cams and a remap?any advise or better specs?

Sounds like you know what you want. Those mods will see 300+hp comfortably.

Volvo tuning are meant to be quite good

Cams are not restrictive - at least I have not heard so?

19t and downpipe should see you well into the 300 hp club , mines running a minimum of 322 bhp at the fly wheel without a dp, and it s just bonkers!

i think il do the work myself ive got a escort cossie as my fast car at the moment its running a 400bhp engine its amazingly fast and the braking and handling are great but i prefer a sleeper and cossies arent reliable.whats your views then on injectors?and do any of you run water injection?would it be just as good just fitting the 19t and ive already got a 3"system anyway.

dont bother with the NA cams. You'll be fine with turbo cams. Otherwise sounds like a pretty solid way to go.
