Due to the advertising rules of the site Viking is not permitted to quote prices etc on the forum, this makes it fair for everyone on the site, we also have paying advertisers. However what you do away from the site is entirely upto you

    Lol evil edna cheers mate!

Right have now done the heated seat switches and will be moving onto the window switches in the next few days!Piccys will be up when i have completed this next round of changes. There is also another car floating around now that i have done this week as well!

Anyone attempting this be advised that it is a long and expensive job that cant be done well on the cheap.

A how to for this would take me hours mate.It would have to start with where to find the right suppliers for all the different leds, how to dismantle half the car and then theres the soldering and the resistors not to mention all the modifying of the switches and bulb holders and wiring. This started out as a simple job but it is far from it and i had to put a lot of time and effort into this as well as using up a few favours!

I may have a climate control unit and a set of clocks already done available at some point as i no longer need the test set up that i had to build for the first set.

Like the look (actually jealous ), outside my price range esp. with all the faults that are cropping up on my car

One question, in the original pics, after you put in the chrome rings you said that wasn't enough and the following pic shows the dials darker, what have you done? Removed the perspex of the dash or polished it up?

Oh and are you going to change the colours of the in-dash warning lights, I see the big red glow in the nightime pics and wondered if you are itching to have a go?

Neevo the clock faces are completely different mate i bought some clocks from a V70r and fitted the dials and as for the warning lights it wouldnt be a problem i just decided that all in blue it would look a little too much the red in the piccys comes from the hand brake and a little bit from the seat belt warning lights

There are no special leds its just a matter of trial and error to find the best for the job.Had to get some of them shipped from the states and the postage was three times the cost of the leds themselves and they were £5 each
