"THE BIG SWEED"Graham has poly top mount, strut brace and poly wishbones on his P1 V70 and it's silent. I think it's the cross member on the P2 stuff that causes the resonant vibration, probably made a lot worse by having a dirty-derv rattling away under it...

Thanked 110 Times in 88 Postsi fitted the powerflex top mount a while back and already have a set of thick washers that prevent the torque bar from moving and didnt notice much of a change from the standard bush. i was convinced from everything id read that i would be changing out the powerflex one but its fine.

Thanked 528 Times in 448 PostsWhen I fitted mine a few years ago I really didn't like it. For a few miles it was fun then it got so annoying I didn't like overtaking (and I LOVE overtaking !). I did however like the tighter gear change and the fact that it stopped the engine rocking on overun etc. I decided to modify mine and basically carefully drilled 6 holes in each half of the bush, now I have the best of both worlds !
Old Car: 855 T5 in Grey and rust (dead and gone, well, most of it !

Modifications: Nowt.....yet !
Daily driver: 855 R in Black,
Currently nursing a blown head gasket, new engine on its way !

Top engine mount had disintegrated on mine.
Replaced with power flex poly bush today. Figured it would be cheaper an easier than fitting the later cross shaped bush and housing. Didn't really think the new bush felt that stiff tbh before fitting.
Definitely can feel increased vibration on start up and idle. General driving and when pressing on it seems to feel better / tighter but I'm probably imagining it.
Time will tell if I can live with it.

19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...
