    Hi bud
Can you tell me if you used calliper paint?, your post gave me idea's and i mentioned it to a mate and he said that i would have to get some special calliper paint or the break dust would eat through it quite quickly.

Before I got powder coated calipers, I used Regular Glossy metal paint from b&Q, think it was called jetpac or something. Came in a small tin and you could get different colours. lasted for ages, never peeled or blistered. Loads cheaper than caliper paint, which I think is just a gimic.

painted mine on the car,, as you can see no problems,, I used the proper brake caliper paint as it has a hardner and does not get affected by brake dust, i was gonna use hammerite, but was told hammerite is not heat proof and under extreme heat for long period, can catch light as most paints are flammible, but the caliper paint i used is heat proof and non flammible,,,, hope that helps....
