    15g And 16t

    whats the difference please peeps as i am thinking of a 16T will it make much difference to the car i.e power acceleration so on so forth

    I personally have seen chipped 850 T5s (15g) out performing chipped 70s on the drag strip however the 70s 16T are ussually going a few mph faster at the 1/4 mile point.
    However 0-60 for the 850 T5 is between 7 and 7.4 secs as stock.
    0-60 for the 70s is between 6.7 and 7.2 seconds as stock.
    But a lot depends on trim levels weight driver skill type of fuel etc etc.
    The 15 G gives a more urgent response at low revs and I think is more fun on country roads less gear changes 50-70 in top is impresive , compared to a 16T , the 16T has more top end grunt and will reach higher speeds at higher revs in all the gears.
    If your 15G is in reasnoble shape I would keep it!
    The 16T can be slightly more economical,
    Try an S70 T5 to see which you prefer!
