I had a custom made POWERFLOW, in stainless, much cheaper than Volvo stock, life time warranty, and sounds a great deal nicer on the ear!!!
I believe that if you look on the web, they have locations all over the u.k!

I can recommend Ferrita if your looking for something not boomy at cruising speeds not boy racer but just very subtle with rumbles in the right places.

and I can recommend Miltek as well ... nice and quiet when pootling around, just a little growl on acceleration indicating something special ... on WOT and full boost they're awesome ... ask Justin and Viking, they both bought one after riding in the back of mine

Is the Miltek tail pipe able to be changed or is it welded to the pipe?

nope not just you pikeajm, you're right ... mine's been on for over a year now amd while still nicely subdued at 'normal' throttle openings, it's getting better and better at WOT

Completely agree with the Miltech. Have never been a great fn of aftermarket exhausts but having been in a couple with the Miltec I am very much converted!

    Booming good news

Aye, thanks for the posts. Miltek it is then. The motors fixed and back to normal was just panel damaged so i had them all replaced and the rear bumper and lights replaced although a good body could have ironed out the few scratches inthe rear bumper.

The problem i had was the tailpip trim was can opened by the impact but the insurance company said the Third party would not replace the full exhaust as it looked corroded andin need of replacement anyway but they would do the tailpipe.

So, they will replace exhaust but require some kind of financial contribution from me. Waiting to see how myuch they want me to pay. May be worth it.

    Thanks again everyone.
    Thanks
