[quote=skidy1]Got some and tried it out on Sunday.

( I must admit though, an hour of that was spent cleanining the die off the paintwork, through trying to get in all the nooks and crannies. Oh .... and by the way, wear latex gloves, cause it took me another hour on top of that to get the die off my hands ).

It was worth it though. The results were bob on, and even the neighbours have been asking me what I used and where I got it from.

    quote]

    Hi there chaps,

Really glad ur finding the Wurth stuff 2b useful I get my bodyshop 2 go over most o the plastics everytime the car goes back in for more paintwork, it's not perfect but the pieces that have been treated r really startin 2 look lush! Good tip that about wearin gloves, remember tho, I did say 2 mask up the bodywork for ease, like most things I think the best final-finish is all in the prep' work carried out...well that's what the bodyshop tell me LOL!

I had a similar thing with my next door neighbour, he was so impressed he bought a tube o Black for his Partner van, that too now looks great

As for the "how far does this stuff go!" issue Redbrick, fear not m8, if u have some (or indeed loads) left over that's fine cos u'll wanna go over the bumpers again at some point 2 help enhance the great finish I'm sure u already have, always nice 2 have some spare?!

Lastly, what is the overall verdict from those that have used it? I think it's the best stuff I've ever used/seen for these type o bumpers bar nowt...long lasting, good lookin and v.easy 2 maintain, n if u consider how much money u'll spend on the good 'ole Back 2 Black (yukky stuff!) over the years cos it keeps gettin WASHED OFF!!!, I think it's cost effective too...

Can't you mask it off and spray it with trim black paint? - This should last a lot longer, it's what a lot of second hand car garages use.

I'm sure you could m8, if u had the skill (2 use) and knowlegde of trim 'Black paint' I have no experience with such things, n also I'd b worried about gettin too Black a finish as I really like the soft Grey my bumpers r currently displayin, havin used the Wurth gear?!

I'd be interested in a tube or 2 if you can get some. If not does anyone know where it can be purchased by those not in the trade?
