My boot lid light is on on a dash, even though its securely shut! Where the hell is the switch, as its only a loose wire, cos it goes out intermitantly! I cant seem to find it
Cheers

Thankyou, Goodnight....much love
Fat lot of help you lot was!
I ordered a boot lock mechanism, cos it holds the microswitch for the light. BUT, got home tonight and took my old one apart, and it still didnt help. I got my girlfriend to sit in the car and look at the dash, and I eventually found that it was a bad earth near the light cluster on the passenger side!
So now you know Check those earths before parting with the cash

Well at least we all learnt something!
only just saw this, but could have told you the microswitch was in the lock... bet it cost you around £100 then, well, if bought new
have you tried to take it back to where you got it from mate? got to be worth a try, as long as you can re package it so it looks unused
