    Hi All,

    Mine is a manual estate and has the following done to it.

    Suspension:Leda rear dampers,Fk front dampers,Eibach springs,strut bar.

    Brakes:Grooved disks all round,mintex pads on the front and pagid blues on the rear.

    Engine:Upsolute Ecu @ 17psi,ported exhaust and inlet manifolds,reverse intercooler plumbing,3inch custom downpipe with race cat,2.5 inch exhaust with one small box in the middle,magnecore 8.5mm wires,Greddy profec B spec 2 boost controller set at 17 psi at the moment,K&N pannel,horns moved.

    planned mods include rebuilt hybrid 15g ,another remap at 20 psi,and water injection

    I have installed aftermarket floormats in all my rigs, see Signature, I may have a floor-mat-fetish . . . . TOP THAT PEOPLE. Seriously though, that's why I'm here, I'm a sponge, want to learn more about my T5. Have all ready learned a bunch. I don't see much of talk of the newer body V70's, anyone on board have one? I suppose the engines are close to the same thing ehy?

    90% of mods are universal between models, there are only a few which aren’t compatible.

    also want to sort the suspension out , drop it by around 35mm but cheaply !

    Yep I'm really pleased with Upsolute chip the car has been transformed . Just loving the extra power and still amazed that I 've got such a quick car for so little dosh. On paper its a bit more economical but in reality I'm driving it at any excuse and too quickly so drinking petrol till the novelty wears off

    had a few good encounters bmws and the like no contest anywhere as yet
    bring out ya porkers!

    anyone whos not sure about a ecu upgrades

    In coming months i plan to upgrade my brakes , refurb and fit 17" titans I have in my cellar before my 16" p zeros run out of tread a boost gauge and a road angel

    Hi All - Some advice please.

    Spoke to Volvo Tuning about having ECU Upgrade (Rica). Would boost to 300+ BHP.

    Are there any negatives, as £470 was not a lot of cash for a lot of extra power.

    Am really keen to do it, so appreciate comments

    As they say in the Nike advert -

    just do it.

    I have had RICA since July - love every minute of it. I feel a little paranoid about whether the AT can handle the extra power - but I think that was just down to my power braking.

    I will also say that your fuel economy will go down more whilst pounding it but be better over all. Plus it is the best way to get the extra power.

    Don't forget that the money is not just for the ECU upgrade - the VT crew will check your car and make sure everything is working as it should be - and advise you on the general condition. So it is a top notch service.

    They also like donuts.

    I looked into all the upgrades available before choosing RICA. Best £ for HP and service and support is second to none. Once its done you will wonder how you ever got on without it!

    Some of you guys have really done some serious mods i'm impressed. I thought it was just Jap Petrol heads that spent serious wad.

    My C70 is standard and I think it will stay that way as I've spent far too much on my other toys and the dog kennel is far too cold this time of year + the dog says I'm going to have to marry her if I keep sharing her bed

    Done a lot to the Z (30K including purchase price 5 years ago) ,but nothing to my Gen 7 TRD celica which is a bit of a hoot even though its only 230 bhp but it weighs nothing.

    TME catback exhaust
    custom made intercooler
    direct port nitrous injection
    minimax progressive nitrous controller
    2x 11lb nitrous bottles in the boot
    (no room for any ice or a spare wheel !!!!!!)

    currently under construction (half finished) a new race spec'd engine
    with forged internals and the mother of all turbos (not mitsubishi)
    custom exhaust manifold ,new downpipe , custom inlet system and manifold
    gas flowed head and manifolds , bigger injectors and new fuel pump
    triple plate clutch and possibly an LSD

    hopefully this lot and 150bhp nitrous will see over 400bhp!

    Intersting reading about all these BHP claims, I had mine on the dyno last friday up at Thor Engineering, she topped out at 189 at the wheels, so I am not sure where all these 300+ figures come from... anyone out there got any info... I know I haven't done many mods, brakes, ecu upgrade, K&N, Stainless Cat Back, but still the pod, so where all theses horses hiding??

    Oh, the torque curve has increased a bundle with the upgrade from Standard,
