    POWER AND PERFORMANCE

    Current best RR

    387.5 bhp (355 @wheels) at 5800rpm. This was done before the current wategate, manifold, exhaust system and with the fuellign leanign out and clutch slipping, as well as beign aborted at 5800rpm with the curve still climbing and the car mapped to 7500rpm (we never go past 7000 though)


    Current performance figures (Taken from speedo video, allowing for over read to best of fairness, ie 0-100 time was 0-110 on the speedo) - AGAIN on an old spec before the recent manifold, exhaust, clutch mods.

    20-60 : 3.2 seconds
    20-100 : 9.0 seconds
    20-140 : 17.9 seconds
    30-70 : 4.1 seconds
    30-130 14.0 seconds
    0-100 10.5 seconds

    PS - and yes I am selling my Skyline because the onyl thing I ever had that could keep up with this was my 380 bhp 1050kg rover which I sold, so I might as well give up and get a cheap diesel, the volvo makes a fool of the skyline every time we have a play.

    its fitted at the bend on the downpipe mate, with the valve open it boosts up alot quicker & higher

    I think with a bit of clever routing a nice side exit pipe from that could be awesome! The flames will be immense from that valve. Nice easy job to convert it to, little rotary solenoid on a cut down throttle body and bam. loudness and flames.

    BT my 850 is for pure go & got the bypass valve to have the shortest, freeflowing exhaust possible

    my bro had twin flamer on an old VW & it does grab peoples attention, depending how Penelope the P1800 ends up i can well see it going on that
