TRAX 2005 @ Silverstone race circuit

7am - Jesus Christ - that means i'll have to leave home at 6.30am to get the 110 miles to Silverstone.

Fraid so!! We are thinking of staying over at a cheapy hotel in Northants the night prior to the event if thats any help tho?

yea i think i'm working on the Saturday too, might need holiday for Sunday, as im off to the ring later that week too gotta get some work done.

I'm already there but with spwc lot, been last 4 years on trot great day.

There is a camp site about 2 mile from silverstone we all camped there last year

Chris we're going Sept 9th till the 14th, are you going too ? It's open half day on 10th, all day 11,12th. Theres also the European XR/RS Owners Club day in Holland on the 11th so i'm attending there too, it's a lovely show actually, cheap tuning stuff too generally.

Hi, TDS; I'll only be there Wed. Sept.7th. It's open all day then. According to the website, opening times on your days are; 10th. 17.15-19.15
11th. 08.00-19.30 12th. 13.00-19.30 Have fun.

Re: traffic-answers, I visit it a lot. I find it most informative (& entertaining). I also used to visit advanced-driving a lot, till the forum got hi-jacked. Hope it returns. At the moment I'm spending a lot of time on the HPC website too, as a newly elected member of that rather exclusive club. Doesn't mean I'll be neglecting good old volvot5 tho'. Have fun (safely) at Nurburgring.

I think i'm going to have to say No to Trax as i'm down to work that afternoon and i dont think it's worth me putting a holiday in and then getting up at 5am to get there for 7am - it sounds a bit too much like torture actually.

I take it the idea of a stand was dropped due to lack of interest? Will have to be more organised next year.

Nookie will be on the stand with the Rover Coupe Owners Club/Rovertech and one or 2 MR2's... I'll probably be frantically cleaning, or dodging the sun (if it comes out). Make sure you all come up and say hello if you spot me.. shouldn't be too hard to spot an ovlov amongst all the Rovers
