This is an event i have been to 3 or 4 times now. It is aboslutly fantastic. There is action on the track all day which is great to watch, every car club going and 0-60 sprints as well as trade stands selling discount parts. I will be on my way beack from france on this day, however i really recomend you guys meet up and go there, or generate enough interest to have a Volvo T5 stand. Trade hotline: 01452 317792

I guarentee if you sit in the stand at brooklands you will not move, it sees all the action !!!

I'd definitely be up for this. I've been to the last 4, the last 2 of which were on club stands, and they were all great. Small barbeques are possible if you're on the gravel, and chairs are a wise move. The sprint tests are great - I watched that twin engined Nova hit 2.82s 0-60 last year (or maybe the year before?). The porka and ferrari that went up shortly afterwards both looked kind of silly in comparison... and it's always good watching other people mess up their runs/have their cars blow up.

IIRC, last year regular ticket price was £15, but club stand tickets were around the £10 or £12 mark? Don't forget that passengers also have to pay.

If we could get a club stand together, that would be superb

Last year we went to the Ford RS show as a visiting club - I thought it was great fun.

Quick update!!

Good news!

I just need to fill in all the relevant forms (which they are sending to me) and sort the details this end - ie who is going, how many cars, banners etc. And we are there!!

£10 per car - who wants to be on the stand?

thanks for the offer Dave but i've found a brilliant place who hand washes for £6 (with a McDonalds next door so i don't have to stand around feeling guilty while they do all the w*rk
