Thanked 887 Times in 593 PostsYeah it's easy. Detach gaiter from the bottom, lift it up over the gearknob. Small screwdriver and prise the two clips away slightly while pulling the gearknob, don't break them. Done.

He never said there were screws lol Just use a small screwdriver to prise the clips...

The secret with the gator is to use the screwdriver and then push down on mine which will reveal the gar knob mechanism. Use a screwdriver and then pop that off. Originally Posted by Andrew
