waste gate actuator i believe mate, on my saab its called the A.P.C valve
(auto performance controller) , im not sure what its called on our T5's.
it is a pressure sensitive switch basically which recieves info from the fuel ecu and causes the wastegate to open and divert exhaust gasses away from the turbine.
have you lost all boost ?

Indeed it is the BCS - essentially an electronically controlled valve, which works on a scaled down version of direct turbo pressure.
