C70 mpg ??

Hi guys ..

As i do journeys from Glasgow to Aberdeen and also Inverness alot it would be interesting to know what the C70 T5's rough mpg is ..... im not expecting it to be great but im reading in threads that 28 - 30 mpg is about correct ????? ....

i tend not to drive my cars like a lunatic on long journeys anyway and sort of sit at about 70 - 75 mph ... i get about 34 mpg from the 21t at about 70ish mph and if driven hard it goes to about 28 - 30 mpg ... is this what to expect from the C70 T5 ???

At 70-80 you should EASILY get 28-30. Im averaging 25 around town at the mo. Between 80-85 I register 28-30

Sounds about right - does greatly depend on how heavy footed you are.

Liddo ... If your getting 28-30 mpg at 80-85 then thats not too bad for what it is .... if i really cane the 21t my mpg will drop to the low 20's ... sometimes just under the 20's if REALLY booting it :0

Mines kack and its not even a T5... 50miles cost me £10. No onboard computer and cant be arsed to work out the mpg hehe.

Bit of a shock from a 1.4 corsa mpg to a 20tonne Volvos mpg ahh well.
