I got a 17 sec, don't know the terminal, buy i only got too 3k revs in 2nd and 3rd lol, coasted over the line,

I cracked a 14.7 quarter, but got slower from then on.
Don got an unexpected 14.4 from his first run, not sure if he did better.
SWautos got a 13, but I think he was spinning most of the way !

I am far from the best drag strip driver though! Sure someone could beat my best of 14.8 @ Avon last year in my own car!!
Had a really good laugh though, sorry if I didn't talk much had 6 mates with me and we were racing 2 cars as well as camping and cooking our own food!
Blooming cold and Sat night until we snuggled up in our sleeping bags! Did have a "New York vagrant style" fire in a barrell that kept us warm though, unlimited supply of wood courtesy of Avon Park & 6ft flames!

slinky here from 587racing.com.. Just thought I'd pop by and say hello after seeing all of you at Shakey today.. A cracking turnout and fair play to you all for getting down to the strip and having some fun..
We were there for the weekend in the silver rear engined dragster doing some shakedown tests with our new engine. Rather pleasingly, we now run 9's!
Oh, and dave, waking up this morning to see a tree trunk poking out of your "brazier" was MOST entertaining!
