    C70 Colours

What colours were the C70 coupe made in?
The colour I'm after is this one (which I think is called venetian or maybe even caalpyso red)

I've also seen black, blue, burgundy, saffron "gay gold", grey and silver. Did they ever do a bright red one? I've been sent a link to a 1999 coupe in bright red, and I've never seen one in this colour before.

    Comments appreciated! Thanks.

    The Saint.

Red is a difficult colour to manage and to re-sell IMHO.
You can get C70s in many shades. Top one I believe is Garnett Red.

Best colours long term are Black, Blue, Dark Green and Silver

Thanks Liddo - as you have one, that seems fairly conclusive.

Anyone have any links to the original C70 brochure, with colour options by any chance?

It is known as Garnett red despite it being called something else on the tin. And we also have a garnet red of the 70 variety!

Saffron was one of the best colours. Looked nice on all the *70 models.

At the risk of sounding like a top class geek, the colours used on the C70 from late 2001 (I think) were: Black Stone, Black Saphire Metallic, Nautic Blue Pearl (mine), Titanium Grey Pearl, Silver Metallic, Sky Blue Pearl, Moondust Metallic (sort of off-white) and Passion Red.

    Please don't judge me!

I really can't think of any colour that the C70 looked bad in!

    They all look quite mint!

You think I know **** nothing! But let me tell you I know **** all!
