    Power Steering leak - Common?

Ok guys, the last 3 T5's i have owned have had a leak from the power steering rack, all with varying milages, V70R with 216k, S70 with 150k & current S70 with 92k. Has anyone else experienced this, must be a common fault surely?

Sorry Daz, 264, 245, 740, 760Turbo, V70 and another V70 and yet to have any rack problems. Looks like you've offended the rack goblin at some point.

I'm off down to Luton to collect a trailer tomorrow. Think I've just set myself up for a power steering failure!

Well, i really must have been unlucky, although i've never had one fail, they just leak fluid, some worse than others.

I'm pretty sure mine is leaking, it's groaning a lot anyway. I'll get it looked at when I take it for it's next service.

Have you any idea how much is costs to repair?

Yep mine was leaking too, not much but enough to notice the pipe had loosened itself... I've tightened it up so I'll just have to wait and see if it has solved the problem....
