most probably on the wrong forum but just wondering if anybody knows what make the volvo v40 1,9 td engine is ? ie renault ??

That's a question that I have been trying to get an answer to myself. My s40 is a 2002 I believe there is a diff after 2000.

it was a shared design between volvo and renault, a joint effort.

well, wouldnt say blinding to be honest, but they are better than the 1.6 petrols i suppose? lol
