Performance figures

Hi,

We had a P1 V70 T5 (DBW/ME7) on the dyno recently for some custom mapping. The only mod it had prior to our remap was a gas flowed cylinder head. By the end of the session we had achieved 275 WHP, not at all bad for a Gallactic Star Cruiser with a 16T Turbo and std downpipe. Anyway he called yesterday to thank me and tell me what a rocket ship it now is and how it really struggles in the first 3 gears to put the power down ! They have conducted some performance test and compared them with a Subaru Impreza WRX:

0-100 14 secs
1/4 mile 14.9 secs
5th Gear 50-70 5.5 secs (WRX 6.5)
2nd Gear 40-60 2.2 secs
3rd Gear 60-80 3 secs (same as Subaru)
3rd Gear 70-90 3.3 secs (quicker than WRX)
4th Gear 70-90 4.2 secs
80-100 4.5 secs

I would like to add that these figures have been placed here for your amusement and enjoyment and have not been verified by 3 independent stop watches ! Just the customers own GTech Meter.

LOL, to tell the truth, if I had an auto I would get better 1/4 mile times too. I'm not exactly what you call "talented" on the drag strip LOL.

Never been on one either, closest I ever came was a closed Santa Pod due to snow in the 70's, March I think, nothing changes then. Don't ask me what the car was lol.
