Strut Brace

I'm thinking of buying a Strut brace for my 98 C70 T5 GT

Can I ask what maybe a silly question, ?

Are the OMP Strut Braces offered for 850 T5's etc the same ?
would it fit a C70 ?

I know that there wasn't much structure changes between an 850 and a S/C/V70

or should I buy a genoowine Volvo one ??

Can't answer the question specifically but i know most people on here say that the Volvo one is not usually a good price straight from a dealership but it also performs pretty well too.

Go get one from Volvo Jase about £70

Get an 850 one as its half the price of the S/V/C70 brace but fits perfect

I was quoted around the same for a brace for my C70, didn't specifically ask for an 850 one though...

the floor pan for the 850 and 70 series is all the same - namely the distance between the turrets and the layout of the RHD car's brake servo is all the same. Save yourself the hassle and just get the standard Volvo SB (I believe VT will have them in stock).

We keep the Volvo Strut brace in stock ! It's really nice in brushed aluminium. Fraz is about right with the price. If you give me a call at VT before 2pm I can have it delivered to you by tommorrow .

How easy/hard are they to fit, considering i've never really done anything to a car before!

Dead easy assuming you have a torque wrench and appropriate sockets/spanners.

The SB comes with fitting instructions

whereabouts in Surrey? I have to take my other halfs coursework down to Epsom soon, she won't mind me popping in o fit it, or you can meet up with me in the surrounding area
