    Mods in mind

I am planning on adding a few personal touches to my C70 auto. I have a finished picture in mind. I probably gona stick with car for about 3-4 years now soo really want to get the modifying out the way. Can anyone help me with the following....

    1) Can i achieve a 30-40mm lowering with 18" alloys.(17" alloys came standard) without sacrificing ride quality. Am i right in saying i can use 30-40mm springs ( without changing shocks) to get the desired drop.

    2) I definitley wll have a remap in mind and a panel filter- i doubt i will go beyond this. Should i have anything else upgraded when doing the remap.

    3) Is the additional auto gearbox cooler a good investment if engine is tuned

    4) I plan to have a HID kit fitted. Is there a DIY section out there for this.

    5) last of all- the painfull bit......the ETS light has come on- intermitent. Ive read up on it. Im not totally clueless to engines and can follow instructions. Is it worth me cleaning out the throttle body (there is indepth guide out there) OR.......there is a Volvo specialist near my workplace. He said the ETS light could be anything. He'll charge me £20 for a diagnostic printout.

    Any help appreciated! Thanx!

Mines lowered 30mm on 19s and theres lots of room left too, no issues at all, as for ECU remaps take a ride in a S70/C70 and decide from that.
