    Question boost

    i have just fitted a manual boost controller and want to know what boost setting my 1995 T5 will run at comfortably, using this vehicle each day.

    Morning Neil.

    The stock ECU will allow boost to be increased up to 1.0 Bar (14.5 Psi) before it senses "Over-Boost" and cuts the ignition.

    I assume you have fitted / plan to use a calibrated boost gauge to tune the boost as this is really a MUST !

    You MUST ensure you keep MAX boost / and Spikes below the above figure especially when rev's are below 3000 rpms other wise you risk bending a con rod.
