Swapping wiper arms

Hello

Can anyone tell me if the nice new non-rusty plastic V70 estate tailgate wipers fit instead of my very rusty/creaky steel 850 one??? Is the spline the same, or the swept area different?

Just going to order a bunch of parts from PFS and have often thought this might smarten the back end up bit, but I don't know anyone with a new one for a swapsy-session.

Are you talking about a wiper arm from a P1 or P2 V70?

If P1 then yes, it will fit. If P2 then I don't know although to hazard a guess I'd say no, it won't fit.

If the P2 is the new shape, thats the one I mean. Somewhere in the back of my mind I thought I remembered seeing an old shape one with a neat plastic arm, must have been mistaken. Sorry!

I'm not convinced it will fit then but will have a look next time I park next to a P2.
