    S60R front brake discs

I got a price for them from Oilver @ Marshalls but im wondering if there are any places other than volvo dealers that sell front discs for the S60R?

    He ain't got a S60 R - he's got a V70 T5 classic with a plan.

Blackbeast, have you tried Nordic. You need to be a VOC member but save 20% on genuine Volvo parts and 40% of Nordic pattern parts.

Do aftermarket companies not make S60 R discs? Try a few of the online suppliers such as PFV and the like.

    Regards

They are cheaper than that at Marshalls, but im really surprised that nobody else other than volvo sells them.

For example, in the states cheapest ive found from parts sellers and specialists is $119 a disc, thats £130.52 for the pair which is great. Problem with that is the discs are quite heavy and that postage would cost £41 (£171) which will then take from 4-6weeks to arrive and you never know how much your going to get taxed at customs.

Cheapest ive found so far in the UK is Marshalls at £199.76, that includes the 25% discount, VAT and carriage.

If i dont find anywhere cheaper than Marshalls then I wont have any other choice but to buy the discs from them.

LOL, except mine has paintwork that has seen better days (previous owner - too many auto car washes, close encounters with hedges on country lanes, bird poo left on for weeks and FOUR kids!

    I also don't have a spoiler : ( . Bet you two do.

No small dent in the wings, just scratches (mostly fine scratches but annoying all the same). Got a small dent in the tailgate though.

Nice pic. Nice motors. Gotta get to a meet with you two so we can get a triplet pic for the gallery. Hmmm, must get a spoiler before then though.

    Regards

Right, im really confused now, ive been told by a few US volvo owners that the diameter of the disc is 330mm, but ive been told by more than 1 source in the UK that they are 320mm.

Having read the spec sheets for both US and UK 'R' models, it does seem that the US disc is 330mm and the UK disc is also 330mm, both cars have EBD (Electronic Braking Distribution), but in the UK it also states the discs are 320mm.

I'm sure you know what you're doing but have you looked on Volvospeed? I'm sure I've read that this conversion has been tried without much success.

Wouldn't want you wasting hard earned £££.

If you do get it to work then top result! Cheaper than an AP kit!

Andy, yeah im on VS quite often, there's a guy over there selling the kit so it definately works, quite a number of members use his kit as well. Im only buying his brackets off him due to costs of shipment/tax etc as the discs are quite heavy.
