    850R Bumper fitting problem!

    Hi,

I recently fitted an 850R bumper/spoiler but find that for some reason it just doesn`t fit snugly up to the "proper" bumper bit. Have spent ages trying to get it right but it somehow seems just a tad too big and wont seat neatly along the line where it joins the black bumper "top"...ie along the line where it clips in.

Anyone else had a similar problem....and is there a cure? It`s one of those minor things that drives you round the bend....you know the sort where it looks 10 times worse than it is just cos you know its there!!

    Regards

    Andrew

Best bet is to take off the top part of the bumper too and fit them together off the car. Start in the middle at the front and push in all the clips into the top part working your way from the middle out along one side, then start again in the middle and do the other. Once they're clipped together bolt them both back onto the car and replace the rivets down each side of the wheel arch liner to hold everything together.

Its a very fiddley job to do with it on the car, much better if you take it off and do it in a nice warm garage!, good luck..
