had my clutch slip

was having a play in me s60 with rica the other day but after a bit the clutch started to slip not good and its only done 43k.
can it be it just got to hot was 2nd and 3rd gear power will have to take it for a drive see if it is ok now.
do they fit any up rated ones in the t5 ?

Im guessing that all s60's including your car has a dual mass flywheel, safe to say then that it got too hot. From what ive read it should be ok if you take it for a drive later.

was chasing some t4 round at the time mine only just had the legs on it so like to no what was done to the t4

there might be a later clutch to fit with a higher clamping pressure.

either way - clutch not cheap!

I would go back to the good old standard solid flywheel and 3pc clutch.

well went for a drive last night when i stoped i had a bad clutch smell so looks like its going

Check out VolvoSpeed forum as they have quite a few threads about changing from a dual mass flywheel to the older style.
