Question If you could change ANYTHING on your car, what would it be?

For me, I'd have loved the T5 even more if it were rear wheel drive. This, IMO, would have made it even more of a driver car as it would have better steering feel, better weight distribution, better handling & better traction.

Must have been a space thing as to why volvo went front wheel drive with the 850-on.

    How about you guys?

    Gwaredd.

If money where no object I'd go for a 4x4 conversion and then see exactly how much power could be rung out of that engine(500bhp+). See if we couldn't teach them Skyline buggers a thing or too about making a fast car eh?.

Up to the 850's all volvo's were RWD. I guess they went teh FWD route for safety reasons and have spent the last 20 years or so trying to conquer the problems e.g. torque steer associated with FWD systems

In terms of cost, the RWD is more expensive to produce, as more parts are needed dor the rear drive train.
