    Question about cats/rica remaps

I've got a 2002 T5 which the previous owner carried out the rica remap on. He also fitted a custom straight through exhaust and a magnagflow sports cat in the downpipe, between the o2 sensors, which does not reduce the emmisions enough to pass an mot.

    I intend to fit a bigger, 5inch 200cell cat in it's place.

So, will the map adapt to the new cat? Or should I leave it as is, and fit my cat downstream of the sensors?

    Thanks in advance
    Dave

There was mention of rear o2 sensors on a thread I read somewhere about the rear sensor and people replacing it and tapping into it's wiring for there wide-band monitoring for datalogging, so I don't think your map will have an issue with you changing the cat to a 200 cell item, as far as I can see the main (pre-cat) sensor is the important one.
