Haven't been around the forum for a long time so looking for some advice.

My dad is looking at selling his V70 R as they don't have much use for it now and it's a shame for it to sit on their drive much longer as they have a V70 D5 which is the daily driver.
We are just trying to get an idea of what it's worth prior to advertising it.

1998 Ph 1 V70R Estate - 170k Miles
FWD - Manual gearbox
Black - Bodywork in excellent condition for age
Half leather black/grey alcantara interior
1 previous owner - imported new from Holland as a RHD
Full Volvo service history up to 100k miles - extensive service history since then by reputable mechanics
Un-modified - A good example as a future classic

Had £2000 engine work done approx 18 months ago - failed coolant pipe requiring head gasket renewal - Itemised bill of works completed including timing belt, water pump etc

MOT until August 2020

Bad points;
- Will need some welding for next MOT - NSR chassis leg corroded - Not holed
- Forward area of rear inner arches/sill corroded
- Exhaust leak from manifold - causing Llambda light - Fault "Middle speed adjustment fault"
- ABS light on - NSR fault - intermittent - possibly sensor
- It's a 22 year old car now so has some minor issues to be resolved but nothing that should scare off any Volvo enthusiast - with some attention and not a lot of money this should be returned to a near perfect example.

We have seen such a range of values on cars advertised for sale but very few cars of the same spec as this which is making it extremely difficult for us to know what price to advertise it for particularly given that there is some work to be done.

Any assistance would be much appreciated and hopefully it will be advertised here for sale in the next week or two, will try to get a couple of pictures for reference before full advert is written up.
