    Anyone know what this is? It's behind the fuse box in 940

    Found this metal bit, attached to 2 wires, behind the fuse box. No mention of it in the manual and can't find with a search on forum but then "metal bit" might not be what it's actually called.

    That clips to the bottom of the little box above the ash tray. It lights up the ash tray, the "metal bit" is sort of a light pipe (plastic coated with silver to reflect the light).

    They always fall off, the clips breaks or something like that, and the bulb is always blown (as with most of the other bulbs in all the little things around the dash). I just hot glued mine on to stop it coming away.

    The put an LED in instead of a bulb and you're sorted
