Looked and looked again.

Oh where oh where can my pollen filter be, oh where oh where can she be?

Hi, Bish, Yours may not have one; mine's a 1996 & doesn't. If it has, it lives under the plastic cover at the very back right hand corner of the engine bay (looking from the front). If you remove a couple of Torx screws there, you can lift the plastic cover enough to see if there's a filter there in the big air intake leading to the aircon.

850 T5 GLT '95 here too,

and I don't think I've got a pollen filter - judging by the occasional stick or leaf that whizzes in through the heater (in dry weather after parking under trees in the wet)!
