    Harvey's C30 D3

Just got this as a daily motor, not going to do much to it .

This is the way it was when I picked it up .

The main point was the Mpg as I need to a fair number of miles over the next 18 months or so.
D3 is a 5 pot 2L diesel with 150 bhp so it's a fun little car to drive.

I was thinking about a T5 but facelift one with good trim level and a nice colour & miles 9k and above.
I guess it's just a nice niche car now no longer make them.

I missed this Harvey... probably as I posted my new C30 in Car Chat (oups)...

Love the colour on your D3, I thought it was only for Polestar, really suits it! Envious on your economy too haha.

I can just pretend is with the colour .
I just think it's a fun little car to drive , Mpg was important but colour and engine / trim just had to have it .

I was actually pleasantly surprised how well they drive, read plenty of motoring reviews that said they were a blunt tool, but I've driven plenty of alternatives and these seem harsh, maybe there were a host of decent handling related changes on the final revision?

Just be wary of the dreaded DPF and DPF sensors.

First thing that needed doing was the rear brakes .

Also quick coat of paint to keep the rust at bay.

Last weekend had the aux belts and cam belt kit changed just for peace of mind.
Coolant tank had turned yellow as did the coolant so changed both.

Cracking job Harvey, I think it suits the car, mine on the C30 are gloss black to tidy up looks.

How much was cambelt change, this is coming up on my T5 one (only 54k miles but 10 years soon)?
