The list of niggley faults is getting shorter. A bit!!

So the headlights have been replaced so I can see where I'm going now!
Broken spot welds by the drivers check strap redone so the door doesn't clunk on opening/closing.
Brake light switch replaced with a S/H one so the brake light warning light doesn't flicker when braking.

    Still plenty to do!
Front roll bar bushes(not looking forward to that job) front subframe inserts at the same time.
    Front brake hoses.
    Tracs/ABS module still intermittent.
    Rear washer not working.
Electric window switch pack playing up on the rear windows, no biggie at the moment.
Front wheel bearings are bit noisy.
    Tailgate struts lazy.
Oh and the drivers door speaker packed up yesterday!

Nobody said these cars were low maintenance! Bless her!

The rear windows and door speaker is likely to either be the plug on the driver door switchpack or the a-pillar door connection. They corrode and go furry causing all kinds of problems but a quick clean sorts it.

Glad that you're getting on with your list. My bonnet being replaced last weekend due to minor denting and a lacquer issue was a big step for me.

This coming week I need to change my rear wiper motor and fix an intermittent number plate light. I also have 2 front doors to fit but that could be next year unless we get some decent weather soon.

The door speaker comes back on or buzzes when I bang the speaker grill, S/H speaker arrived today. I've had the switch pack apart so I could close the rear windows, looking out for a decent used unit.
Sometimes think I should buy another one for spares?

Mine was a valve in the tailgate that was blocked, and the back pressure used to cause the pipe to come apart near the spare wheel space. Only cost a quid or so for the new valve but sorted....

Agree, I will. Thanks for the info on the tailgate washer valve. Just got a S/H window switch pack for £30 on the bay! result!
Been looking at C70 convertable's as a project, think that's another that need saving?

Well the S/H switch pack turned out be no better than mine! (Intermittent rear windows) so may have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. In the mean time I've got front anti roll bar polybush kit and subframe inserts plus some new tailgate rams to stop that coming down on my head when you least expect it!! Oh and a good deal on ATF fluid at Euro car parts so give the box another flush.

No worries, I think it came from Parts Monster on the bay.

Just changed by rear wiper motor as the old one kept freezing. Sorted and I had to get another tailgate trim repair kit.
