    850 Engine Specialists

    Hi all
Can anyone suggest a person / company that have a good understanding of the 850r engine? Whilst I'm not looking for anything particularly 'special' in terms of upgrades, I do want a mechanic who can properly undertake jobs such as PCV replacement, cambelt replacement and compression tests etc.
Any ideas please? I'm in Kent but willing to travel within reason..

    Cheers

    Thankyou both.
Its certainly someone I had intended using but have been unable to get any form of reply in about 5 months. I have tried calling, text and email so don't know if he is still active??

Are there any other suggestions please?

He's around.....just persevere. He's a very busy boy so patience is a virtue when trying to get work booked in with Tim. Try the T5D5 facebook page. Cheers

OK, so it seems unlikely he hasn't changed number/email address etc?

I find the best way to book work in with Tim is bribe him with confectionery. Jaffa Cakes are normally a safe bet (although he is also partial to a double decker multi pack).

If he's not getting back to you don't take it personally - your probably one of dozens of messages he's received that day - if he got back to everyone he'd have bugger all time to actually work on the cars. Its a bit of a lottery trying to catch him in a tea brake. As I said persevere - without crossing the line into being a pain in the arse.

I'd be delighted to offer confectionery, Jaffa Cakes or otherwise, but until I'm able to understand if he even wants to take any more work on of he's that busy, I'm kind of stuck!
Anyway, I will stick at at. Not sure how I know whether 'the line' will be crossed though..

    Cheers
