    CFE+ is here!!

    At last! Now 05> owners have all the same functions as 00-04 owners plus, extra functions across all years!

    That looks great, bit of a bummer that these functions aren't available without buying a new cfe though.

    Err you sure?

    The CFE plus is so these functions can be used on 05> as the CANbus speed is faster.
    However, the functions are already available on 03-04 model Rs, so I'm going to download the latest software and see what happens.

    That's how I read it. Cfe plus is a completely new product. They're even listed separately on the website.

    Reading up on their site the new unit uses high and low speed canbus where the older units only used the low speed . it must be fitted to the obd2 port.

    I've been using the CFE for the past 2 years. I bought the new one today and will give it a try

    I've been having a read on the other forum link. Now I have a 2.4t manual which is a y reg. I'm not very good with wiring as I had a look on Volvotec and saw the additional wiring harness for the plus version. Can I use the normal cfe to get extra functions?

    The newer version plus unit now has alot more functions on the P2 cars .
    But if you are a P3 owner it's now doing alot more well worth looking into..
