    Steering rack problems

Arggh another steering rack gone ! Another on way from breaker ! If I didn't like it so much it would be joining its mates at breakers ,I now think I know why so many are in scrap yards ! The one coming out going for refurb so I have a spare ! Going this route as my mechanic can't have car in workshop taking up space ,I took a risk buying from breaker but will then have re built one in stock for when this one coming spits its dummy ,bearing in mind the car was off road 3 mnts so got 3/4 mnts use from last one ! Can anyone confirm if this is a known week spot? ,is their anything that puts undue stress on them so I can avoid ? Thee car leads a easy life mostly m way miles ?

I went to my local scrappy the other day for a couple of bits, they didn't have a single Volvo.
