Drove in to work today to test it out. The much lower might point point took a few miles to get used to.

Slightly sharper take up when feeding it in. You sort of feel the gears more when swapping cogs (must be the different oil). In crawling traffic 1st or 2nd there is less shunting surprisingly over the DMF (presumably less wobbling about). Not really run it out hard to notice any difference in engine pickup.

Brakes better.

Chap who did clutch (did last one on T5) said all looked good underneath and that the existing clutch looked to have plenty of meat on it, but friction surfaces did look very dry and polished, so maybe why I noticed it slip a few times.

New tyres next week.
