What grade of oil were you using?
Don't forget Jon and I are both using a Solid SMF (which looks like a thing of beauty ) and, therefore, a thicker gearbox oil to keep gearbox chatter from the layshaft down when at idle. Typically upgrading from the stock 75W80 to a 75W140NS! I don't believe Castrol manufacture a Non Slippery gearbox oil of the same grade, so you can only use the Redline.
TTV Racing - Solid Billet Steel Single Mass Flywheel, contains no moving parts or springs.
All vibration from the engine will be transferred through to the gearbox and will manifest itself as 'chatter' and can be heard when Idling, which increases with use of the Air conditioning. Once driving, the noise stops.
The amount of noise varies depending on the wear and amount of backlash in the gearbox. Using a thicker gear oil, reduces the idle chatter immensely.
