Well,  the Beast has finally arrived and is ready to be sacrificed at the altar of the petrolhead.

Now Al I have to do is fill this:

    With this:

    Simples!

Actually, it looks like I'm going to have to convert the engine from a front sump to a rear sump, which is going to be a pain, but it will all be worth it in the end

I'm very interested in this as I was lead to beleive that it was really hard to get the Jag V8 to work in any other car, I can't remember the reason at the moment. Something to do with the engine not running because it's all canbus controlled.

Yeah, it's because the engine and transmission talks to the body control module, the traction control system, the ABS module, the immobiliser etc. before it will start. Because of this the engine has largely been ignored, which is a shame.

The only way around it is a manual 'box (that Jaguar never fitted to the AJ-V8) and standalone engine management.

I have decided that, due to the fact that it's bloody cold outside work has been largely suspended on the project for a while. In the meantime I've made a website, which I'll update as I get work done. You can find it at the following link https://stinkypantsshepher.wixsite.com/v8volvo240
