    Replacement boost hoses or rip?

I need to replace the boost hoses on my t5 because they're all soft and I'm sure leaking somewhere. Now, I'm not sure whether to get the do88 boost hose kit or go for the do88 rip kit. There is quite a difference in price and for the gain I'm not convinced it's worth it for me as the only mods I'll be doing are cat back and a trip to Mr Williams for a remap.

    What do you guys think?

Good timing as I've been looking at replacing boost hoses due to an as yet unidentified low boost issue (gut feeling is TCV or leak, as checked the diaphragm on the turbo bypass and it was good and suddenly only boosting lower quarter of white area on instrument guage).

I saw a cheap Chinese set of silicone boost hoses for just £65 yesterday on Amazon and my thinking is as the hoses are not "critical" and need to merely be rigid and fit (famous last words), that a cheap Chinese kit would do, and instead look for quality on critical items like cooling system obviously.

Gone for the do88 hose kit, couldn't really justify the extra dosh for the rip kit. I looked at the cheaper kits bigego but I've had fitment issues with them before, my hope is that the do88 kit will be a near perfect fit....we shall see.

All hoses fitted now. I'm impressed by the quality and fit and would certainly recommend them. Also got to mention the great service from pfs, ordered yesterday and here this morning!

The combination of the new pipes and a new tcv has made a good improvement.
