    Handbrake Light not illuminating

Just noticed, when I pull the handbrake the dash light doesn't illuminate.
The dash light is fine as it turns on for few seconds once the ignition is in position II .

    Where is the switch located?

    Thanks!

From this pic it looks like it is located at the bottom of the lever pivot:

Looks quite simple so should be easy to clean.

    Resolved.
Solution; sanded the other end of the plastic pice - which holds the electric copper piece in place - to make it slide back and forth smoothly. Now, the copper shim connects perfectly when the handbrake engaged.
