The R gets a reversing camera

It wasn't quite boxing day when I got round to this, more last week.

A quick test of the camera plugged in to the iMiv (after updating the iMiv with the right firmware), and away we went routing the cabling and drilling the double skinned boot lid to get positioning of the camera spot on.

Luckily in the S60 there's a few hooks in the roof of the boot to cable tie everything in to neatly, and then hide the cable away behind the boot lid trim. The main problem was getting the right size hole (about 7mm) to fix the grommet in to through the boot lid. All turned out quite neat.

A quick call round to a friend at Cheshire Autobodies and the camera was firmly fixed in place with body tape and superglue.

And finally just a quick thanks to Harvey for the quick sale/delivery!

I fitted a different one as it's a bit smaller & no bracket so a tighter fit.
